Laminated packaging
The same as for folding boxes we can offer various effects: (partial) UV varnish, hot foil printed details, plastification, embossing, debossing etc. Emphasize the value of the product with the outlook of the packaging.
What is a laminated packaging?
Laminated packaging is composed of two parts: printed cartonboard is glued on corrugated board on the laminating machine. It is used for packing heavier or bigger products. Its primary function is to sell, but at the same time is has the basic function of the packaging in order to protect the product during transport.
Cartonboard, which is normally used for lamination, is 230g GD2. For better quality of packaging – especially for demanding prints – we suggest the use of lower grammage of GC cardboards. Mostly we use two-layer corrugated boards of various qualities, sometimes also three or five layer corrugated boards. Inlayers for proper placing of the product in the box are very often a part of laminated packaging.
