What is Fachpack and why visit it?
A new key theme for 2022 focuses on the powerful trends currently affecting the packaging industry. Sustainability, which is one of them, is required not only by law but by all of us, as increasingly aware consumers - and this means far-reaching changes in the industry. Actions such as the circular economy, digitization and e-business are gaining importance. It appears that areas such as online shopping and home delivery will continue to grow. All these topics are not only a task for the packaging industry but also an opportunity for changes and improvements.
FACHPACK is one of the leaders in packaging fairs in the world and is the only international trade fair that represents the entire value chain in the field of packaging - from design and planning, materials and machines to production and printing of packaging and logistics in the packaging process.
In 2019 the fair had as many as 1,644 exhibitors and more than 44,000 visitors from all industries. Even in 2021, which is considered the year of pandemic, there were 789 exhibitors and 24,000 visitors. This year the number will surely be even higher and we are proud to be a part of this story.
